The beard, hair, eyebrows, cuffs and stocking trim are wool roving. One hand has a wreath and candy canes tucked in the other arm. His black mittens are paper clay. The tip of the stocking has a small rusty bell.

I think this is my favorite so far this year!!
Stitched on 14 ct Floba fabric the original design features Christmas trees, quilt motifs and reindeer!
Stitched with avacado green, mossy brown, chracoal gray and deep red and then heavily coffee dyed and rag stuffed for that primitive look and feel. Backed with old drab brown wool.

This wonderful primitive style pillow is hand cross stitched from a Prairie Schooler design. Stitched on 8 count Hickory Heatherfield on fabric that resembles burlap it has a very primitve look!

These little candy cane snowman ornies look great hanging on a tree or in a wooden trencher with some rosehips.
The snowman head is attched to the candy cane with greenery and burgundy pip berries behind the snowman's head. His hat is a small homespun check with warm & natural batting for the fur and a rusty jingle bell at the tip.
The fabric head is tea dyed and the whole thing is glittered with crystal glitter- prim but cute & festive also.

This tin is painted in a cutesy prim style- I love the snowman's face.
The tin is a recycled one and is fairly large.
After the painting was finished I spatered the whole tin with the same off white.
