It was stitched on a Spruce Green evenweave fabric and then coffee dyed- it is backed with osnaburg- the tips on the backing have a green color from the coffee dying which make it look even older!
It measures 4" high x 4" at it widest point and has been mounted on a dowel rod with a painted wooden wheel base.

Plimoth Cuboard Sampler

SOLD THANK YOU! I had hoped to get a better picture but this is a s good as my son's phone would do so I will try to get a better one.

I designed this sampler not necessarily for Thanksgiving but as a tribute to my 10th great grandparents ( Hannah and Edward Bompasse) that lived at Plimoth Plantation from 1621 until 1630.
The first pilgrims arrived in 1620- thus the verse Nov. 1620 Arrived on these shores at Plimoth.
The sampler is stitched on 14 count evenweave and has been coffee dyed and rag stuffed. It measures 4 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall.
