I love how this turned out- the base is a tin can painted a reddish brown, the pincushion is coffee dyed muslin, and the bird is made from a repro cream and soft red calico- there is a label on the can that says "Pinkeep".

Primitive Bird Makedo

Sold- thank you!! This makedo was made from a Sassafrass Hill Primitives pattern.
The fabric is a red and moss green paisley reproduction calico. The fabric is deeper in color than shown. The eyes are tuck stitched with black thread. It is mounted on a black metal fluted oval candle pan- the candle pan is filled with 7 floss wrapped wooden spools- it comes with a grungied "pinkeep" tag and two pinned on buttons 18.00 plus shipping
